When Burna Boy walks into a venue, the temperature rises—not just from his chart‑topping sets but from his unapologetically personal style. So when the Nigerian megastar was spotted with a diamond‑set carabiner holster designed to carry a bottle of Nando’s PERi‑PERi sauce, it wasn’t just a fashion statement. It was a moment.
The piece wasn’t made in isolation. According to A Jewellers, it was a collaboration with Nando’s UK, timed to coincide with Burna Boy’s appearance at Wireless Festival 2025, where the chicken chain was backstage catering for artists. The white gold carabiner was gifted to Burna Boy, complete with his name, the official Nando’s logo, and fine enamel detailing of red chilli peppers growing on a vine. In a post shared on Instagram, the jeweller confirmed:
“We linked up with @nandosuk to design an iced out carabiner clip for @burnaboygram to carry his mini PERi‑PERi bottle.”
Abtin “Abs” Abbasi - A Jewellers
The custom white gold Nando’s clip for Burna Boy, fully set with diamonds and enamel chilli peppers, presented in a branded display case
For those in the know, A Jewellers, under the leadership of Abtin “Abs” Abbasi, has long been the go‑to atelier for custom watches and chains in the UK rap and grime scenes. Burna Boy, Skepta, Headie One, and Central Cee have all called on the workshop for high‑spec pieces that merge precise goldsmithing with personal meaning.
The sauce clip may look tongue‑in‑cheek — and it is — but it’s also a feat of technical execution. Micro‑set diamonds, precise clip engineering, and Nando’s branding motifs reimagined in shimmer. A utilitarian accessory transformed into an instantly collectible object.
Choosing to carry Nando’s — already a meme and cultural shorthand across the UK and beyond — signals more than taste preference. It speaks of fan culture, brand loyalty, and everyday luxury. The jewelled version becomes something else entirely: satire meets aspiration. A piece that folds street humor and high fashion into one wearable moment.
Food‑brand fashion isn’t new. We’ve seen burger chains, soda icons, and pizza logos find their way into accessories before. But this? This is intentional extravagance. It’s couture‑level personification of sauce.

This isn’t just a story about a hot sauce bottle. It’s about personalisation taken to the extreme, and a modern jewellery moment that speaks louder than any chain. Two of my favourites in one: Nando’s chicken and jewellery. What better combo? I like it Extra Hot.
